While my daughter was undergoing her dyslexia and language processing testing, I treated myself to some fresh fall air in my old neighborhood. There is a conical mound in the woods near my childhood home that I used to go to by myself. In those days it wasn't identified as an official Indian Mound, but I knew it was a very special place.
